Defying neat categorisation Jerzy Skolimowski has created a dynamic and provocative body of work that reveals him as one of our foremost cinema artists. As writer, actor, director and sometimes producer he not only engages us with stories but also challenges us to understand other worlds by fluid changes of perspective. His films won awards from the beginning. In this conversation with season curator Michael Brooke we look forward to hearing about what drives his creative passion and what lies behind his international success.
