*SOLD OUT*
A 4-hour workshop in which participants will experiment with pixelation, an animation technique in which they will use their bodies and found objects instead of the usual puppets. Each participant, equipped with a phone and the appropriate application, will have the opportunity to create their own story.
Taking about eight photos for every second of the film, we will bring the bodies to life in a magical way, making them fly, pass through walls, transform into new life forms and perform impossible tricks.
Tessa Moult-Milewska is a British-Polish writer and animation director, a graduate of the National Film and Television School and founder of the Warsaw Animation Film Festival. Her go-to of animation is stop-motion, but she’s also directed 2D animated kids series, experimented in mix-media as well as worked in advertising. She specializes in short forms with a quirky sense of humour and a dark, whimsical tone.
Please note, the Workshop is primarily intended for particpants between 12 - 18 years of age, although those with an interest in the subject who are outside this age range, are welcome.
This workshop has now SOLD OUT.
